egyptian phoenix

great pic. . . although, that's a winged Isis (due to the throne on her head, pregnant with Horus, from the wings), enveloping Osirus (post resurection). the egyptians didn't have the concept of a Phoenix, but they had the sun god Ra, who is often drawn as a hawk. . .
